U.S. Navy awards OBXtek SeaPort-NxG contract

Tysons Corner, VA, April 25, 2019 – OBXtek Inc. has been selected as a prime contractor by the U.S. Navy for the SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort-NxG) multiple award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract. SeaPort-NxG holds a value of $5 billion and includes a five-year base period with one five-year option.

OBXtek will compete for individual task orders supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Office of Naval Research, and the United States Marine Corps. Services on the SeaPort-NxG IDIQ fall within two categories, engineering services and program management services, with 23 functional area subcategories.
